Firstly, I would like to begin with a definition of a friend. It is said that a friend is that person who holds your hand and touches your soul. For me, a friend is that person who raise me whenever I fall, who doesn’t judge me whenever I do something wrong and who is always there for me no matter how busy she is or how late is the hour.
I have to say that I am very happy because I have two true friends. They are the people who know me best and the people with which I have thousands of beautiful memories. They are my best friends, my classmates, even my desk mates. Our friendship is special and we are aware of this. However, that doesn’t means that we don’t have problems or argues but we just drop them away with a smile and a hug.
I don’t know if a human without friends can be called “human” because being without friends is like that part of you dedicated to them is missing. You are incomplete and full of frustration because you don’t have a person to listen to your problems and to try to help you.
Especially for teenagers, friendship is a very important thing. Some teenagers have lots of friends, some teenagers don’t. Some teenagers are popular but even them share their secrets with one or two closer friends. It’s not easy to find true friends. Because a teenager wants to have many friends and to be popular it is almost impossible to consider all your best friends to which you can tell your biggest fears and deepest feelings.
When you are a teenager you can create a friendship that can last forever, during your whole life. That if you are lucky enough and if you learn to forgive and to apology. Because whenever you fight with a friend or you get angry with him you both have to find a way to resolve things. You can’t drop your memories just because of an unsuitable word said or thing done. But because our feelings are bigger now and because we can change our mood from a second to other we can lose valuable friendships if we are not careful.
